Internet Explorer 7 （以下、IE7） も先日正式版がリリース （現時点では英語版のみ） されましたが、この IE7 のベータ版リリースに合わせて、IE を機能拡張するための各種のアドオンソフトを提供する 「Add-Ons for Internet Explorer」 が公開されています。

ちょうど、IEBlog にてこの 「Add-Ons for Internet Explorer」 から、いくつかオススメの拡張機能が紹介されていましたので、取り上げてみます。

紹介されているのは下記。

1. Microsoft Windows Defender
2. IESpell
3. Inline Search for Internet Explorer
4. StumbleUpon Toolbar for Internet Explorer
5. Trailfire Toolbar for Internet Explorer
6. 1-Click Answers
7. Windows Live Toolbar
8. Bloglines Browser Plug-In

1） スパイウェアやポップアップ広告の防止、2） スペルチェック、3） がページ内検索。

4） は、StumbleUpon ツールバーの IE 版。ちなみに、StumbleUpon は、以前このサイトでも取り上げました。（参考エントリー）。

5） Web ページにコメント付けできる Trailfire Toolbar、6） ページ内テキストをクリックで意味を表示、7） 機能てんこ盛りの Windows Live Toolbar、8） IE7 のRSS リーダと Bloglines を連携。

Firefox 等では以前から拡張機能のお世話になっていて、それがないと困るくらいの存在になっているのですが、これで IE も自分好みに拡張して、より便利に使えるかもしれません。

ちなみにこの Add-Ons for Internet Explorer、IE6 でも使える拡張機能がほとんどですので、日本語版 IE7 リリース前でも役に立ちますよ。
